For New Incoming Doctor of Chiropractic Students
Parker University’s Presidential and Achievement Scholarship recipients will be awarded based on criteria below and selected by an internal scholarship committee. *
Presidential Scholarship Criteria
- Must be a new incoming DC student.
- Scholars must have a minimum of 3.6 GPA on the 90 hours required to enter Parker University’s regular DC admissions path.
- Must be full-time (a minimum of 16 credit hours for DC).
Presidential Scholarship Specifics
- Parker University will award up to 15 scholarships per trimester.
- A student may receive up to $15,000 ($1,500 per trimester, up to 10 trimesters).
- Recipients must maintain a 3.6 GPA to retain the scholarship. †
- Students must maintain full-time status. †
- Students entering the DC program on the AATP track are not eligible.
† Failure to maintain for two consecutive trimesters will result in the loss of the scholarship.
Achievement Scholarship Criteria
- Must be a new incoming DC student.
- Scholars must have a minimum of 3.3 GPA on the 90 hours required to enter Parker University’s regular DC admissions path.
- Must be full-time (a minimum of 16 credit hours for DC).
Achievement Scholarship Specifics
- Parker University will award up to 25 scholarships per trimester.
- A student may receive up to $7,500 ($750 per trimester, up to 10 trimesters).
- Recipients must maintain a 3.3 GPA to retain the scholarship. ‡
- Students must maintain full-time status. ‡
- Students entering the DC program on the AATP track are not eligible.
‡ Failure to maintain for two consecutive trimesters will result in the loss of the scholarship.* Please note that the Presidential Scholarship and Achievement Scholarship are the current scholarship opportunities for incoming students. Other scholarships, including the JWP Legacy Scholarship, were discontinued on September 1, 2014.
