To provide each student with a knowledge of anatomic relationships present under various sectional orientations. The student will be able to differentiate the various planar orientations used in medical imaging; and identify sectional anatomic structures viewed on medical images.

Skill development in the operation of computed tomographic equipment, focusing on routine protocols, image quality, quality assurance, and radiation protection. Determine operating protocols for routine computed tomography to include radiation protection and quality assurance; and analyze imaging artifacts.
