Textbooks and Equipment Fees

Students should expect to spend an average of $1,250 per trimester for required textbooks and equipment fees.

Cost of Living Expenses

Cost of living expenses for Parker University students in the Doctor of Chiropractic and Undergraduate programs per trimester is $11,479.
“Cost of living” refers to books and supplies, room and board, transportation and personal expenses.

Policy on Tuition Increase

The Board of Trustees at Parker University reserves the right to increase tuition and fees whenever deemed necessary without prior notice.

Financial Policy
All charges including tuition and fees are due and payable on or before the first day of class.

Active Military Tuition Rates

Parker University participates in the Department of Defense (DoD) Tuition Assistance (TA) Program providing postsecondary programs available to the military community.

TA eligible programs at Parker University are as follows:

Active Military Tuition Rate:
$250 per credit hour in undergraduate programs and masters programs are in accordance with DoD Instruction 1322.25. Rates do not include costs associated with room, board, distance learning, equipment, supplies, books/materials, exams, insurance, parking, transportation, admissions, registration, or fines.

Military Education Benefits

Parker University honors its Veterans by providing the following discounts:

  • The Tuition Deposit and Application Fees are waived for all Veterans
  • Active Military receive a $250 per credit hour tuition discount for undergraduate online and master’s programs
  • Parker Grant and Merit Scholarships are also available to qualified Veterans pursuing undergraduate degrees
  • Presidential and Merit Scholarships are available to DC seeking Veterans

Tuition Assistance

NEW! – Effective for periods of enrollment on or after January 1, 2021, Parker University will provide a 10% Tuition Discount to All Veterans and approved dependents of Veterans that receive(d) benefits. NOTE: This benefit does not apply to active military using the tuition assistance benefits and receiving the discount of $250 per credit hour.

Applying for GI Bill and Veteran Benefits:

Parker University is approved by the Texas Veteran’s commission to certify eligible students for VA Benefits enrolled in approved academic programs. Veterans that wish to utilize their benefits must submit the following documents to the VA Certifying Official in the Registrar’s Office:

  • VA Enrollment Certification Form – must be submitted each term
  • VA Certificate of Eligibility Form
  • Copy of DD-214 (Veteran only)
  • Copy of VA 1905 (Vocational Rehabilitation only)
  • All official military transcripts and academic transcripts from other schools attended

Clinical Fieldwork

  • * Physical examination by a physician including immunizations and laboratory tests ensuring that the student is in good physical/mental health to participate Clinical Fieldwork experiences.
